If Emmanuel Cimbron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Cimbron in the 18th minute of play. Thomas Diehl came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Vanadio F.C.'s Emmanuel Cimbron. But to his dismay, Emmanuel Cimbron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vanadio F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonathan Antecha in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Antecha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomas Diehl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ferman Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thomas Diehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brook Yard got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Melbourne 007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brook Yard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jonathan Antecha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanadio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Antecha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Diehl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the game, Joshua Mccormick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joaquin Ispuzua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Blade King fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melbourne 007's protests and gave Blade King a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Melbourne 007 got a freekick which was hit by Blade King. After a defensive mix-up in Melbourne 007's zone, Emmanuel Cimbron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Diehl came out of the goal and Emmanuel Cimbron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Ispuzua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦梁翀, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burhanettin Utman to strike the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Gurruchaga hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Blade King hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Asteri Reganado got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 秦梁翀 in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Ispuzua saved Vanadio F.C. from getting behind. In the 57th minute Eden Hazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Diehl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eden Hazar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Burhanettin Utman notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua. Joaquin Ispuzua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Melbourne 007 booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirco Vucevic didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua got control of the ball when Brandon Galvin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
