In the 5thth minute of the game Maurice Vissenakens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Res Non Verba's Nuno Palomera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Narciso Agudiez sped through Bacardi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricky Van Dock. When Luisito Eguilaz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Res Non Verba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Eguilaz couldn't finish the play. When Anacleto Arijola fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Res Non Verba's protests and gave Anacleto Arijola a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Res Non Verba getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Anacleto Arijola hit a great ball. Nuno Palomera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul-Louis Van Mechelen in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Narciso Agudiez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Van Dock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Txerran Gotor came free, but Ricky Van Dock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Res Non Verba booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Cengiz Uzlet didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Agudiez in the 24th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Ricky Van Dock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes, Xusto Olloa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Res Non Verba and the Bacardi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Res Non Verba getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Xusto Olloa hit a great ball. The long shot by Arif Cengiz Uzlet in the 27th minute really tested Nuno Palomera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Fernandez Cuero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Palomera was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ricky Van Dock came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Res Non Verba's Luisito Eguilaz. But to his dismay, Luisito Eguilaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Res Non Verba's Nuno Palomera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Res Non Verba from getting a goal against them. Res Non Verba's Nuno Palomera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandez Cuero in the 36th minute of play. When Bacardi FC's Fernandez Cuero in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Res Non Verba's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Res Non Verba's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Louis Van Mechelen came free, but Nuno Palomera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandez Cuero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Palomera having to interfere. After the first half Res Non Verba were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Agudiez was the one to do the kick off. Nuno Palomera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandez Cuero, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Paul-Louis Van Mechelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Palomera having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Anacleto Arijola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Res Non Verba getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Narciso Agudiez hit a great ball. Ricky Van Dock made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Narciso Agudiez sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Palomera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Louis Van Mechelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bacardi FC's Paul-Louis Van Mechelen in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ricky Van Dock was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anacleto Arijola. Ricky Van Dock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txerran Gotor in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Res Non Verba's Narciso Agudiez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Fernandez Cuero put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nuno Palomera. When Fernandez Cuero came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bacardi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandez Cuero couldn't finish the play. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Xander Steurms replaced Fernandez Cuero. In the 91st minute of the match, Narciso Agudiez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricky Van Dock was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ricky Van Dock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Arijola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
