After 21 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eden Hazar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto do Valle got free with Joaquin Ispuzua in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ubaldo Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirco Vucevic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Augusto do Valle struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Joaquin Ispuzua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Horacio Medardo's late challenge caught a Vanadio F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Federales FC Ψ OFF the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Vanadio F.C.'s zone, Cícero de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Ispuzua came out of the goal and Cícero de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Federales FC Ψ OFF made a substitution. Angelo Gaskon replaced Osvaldo Burutzagi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Augusto do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute of the match Federales FC Ψ OFF got a corner. Vanadio F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelo Gaskon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Angelo Gaskon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua did a great save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Ubaldo Lluterio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 90 minutes, Cícero de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Federales FC Ψ OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
