Horacio Nevada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Agustin Rossi made a huge save. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lengua de Lobo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felix Feliz was slow to take the kick. During this time Salmuera CP's players had a chance to rest. Eloy Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Horacio Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Salmuera CP getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Erasmo Telmo hit a great ball. Guillermo Barros Schelloto took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Vela. Eloy Vela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eloy Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 24th minute of the match. Lengua de Lobo's Agustin Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Lengua de Lobo from getting a goal against them. Lengua de Lobo's Agustin Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Nevada in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Lengua de Lobo's Edgardo Paredes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edgardo Paredes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lengua de Lobo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edgardo Paredes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Edgardo Paredes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Eloy Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Correa in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Salmuera CP booed when Lengua de Lobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin-Daniel Palermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin-Daniel Palermo in the 45th minute of play. Lengua de Lobo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Barros Schelloto in the 46th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Ezequiel Illan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horacio Nevada made a kick off. Eloy Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Adolfo Tabby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Adolfo Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Illan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eloy Vela firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Ezequiel Illan fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lengua de Lobo's protests and gave Ezequiel Illan a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Illan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Raúl Cascini hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Ezequiel Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 minutes Salmuera CP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guillermo Barros Schelloto who took care of the corner kick. Horacio Nevada took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Rossi. Agustin Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
