Niculae Curăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Solera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Leontin Bouleanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Eufemio Zubizarreta. Eufemio Zubizarreta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Arseni kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Arseni in the 14th minute of play. When Quirce Cano fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's protests and gave Quirce Cano a yellow card for diving instead. Quirce Cano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Ivan Pacuraru made a precise shot to the right of Eufemio Zubizarreta. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heleno Tutorskiy in the 23rd minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Eufemio Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tutor Militari's David Cornea got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Ponce Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Curăreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Pacuraru made a kick off. Ivan Pacuraru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Leontin Bouleanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eufemio Zubizarreta, 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Bouleanu got free with Eufemio Zubizarreta in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a freekick which was hit by Ventura Astudillo. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Eufemio Zubizarreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 from getting a goal against them. Eufemio Zubizarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Pacuraru in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Leontin Bouleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tutor Militari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. A collision led to C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Salvador Palanques hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Ponce Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Curăreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Tutor Militari's Ivan Pacuraru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eufemio Zubizarreta. Eufemio Zubizarreta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11.
