The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Castanheiro SC. Pedrinho Guimarães had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Branco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 5th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Martins to maneuver through the defense. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 潘远迅 in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Inocencio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Etxekopar. Eliézer da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nana Lider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 潘远迅. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Los Andes defense, Kauan Rezende kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nana Lider. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nana Lider should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Los Andes's zone, Kauan Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nana Lider came out of the goal and Kauan Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Frederico in the 23rd minute of play. Leonardo Trancoso took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nana Lider. Nana Lider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32nd minute 潘远迅 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nana Lider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Rezende's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Inocencio Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Los Andes's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nana Lider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 潘远迅 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Inocencio Etxekopar clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 46 minutes, Richard Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the Club Atletico Los Andes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Richard Martins hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauan Rezende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kauan Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. 潘远迅 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pedrinho Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Eliézer da Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nana Lider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Célio Pena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nana Lider showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes, Castanheiro SC's Richard Martins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nana Lider came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Alexis Mac Allister got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Célio Pena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nana Lider. Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nana Lider made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Kauan Rezende sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Apolo Frederico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Pedrinho Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Branco was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider got control of the ball when Kauan Rezende tried to sneak it across the goal line. Castanheiro SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
