Chip Chiper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulizes Sola went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Paredes Campderros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Chip Chiper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dani Galiana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The PAIDAGOGOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Astillero del Guayas were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Rzentkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chip Chiper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Galiana in the 54th minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAIDAGOGOS's goalkeeper Chip Chiper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 82nd minute of play forced PAIDAGOGOS's goalkeeper Chip Chiper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PAIDAGOGOS's Chip Chiper got control of the ball when Paredes Campderros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Long Yuan De showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Lerych in the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Cevallos Provencio. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Astillero del Guayas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
