Jonathan da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Simamane LuaLua got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jonathan da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Etxekopar in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazen Vella Bonavita to maneuver through the defense. El ABUELO FC's Rafael Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio França in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Cássio França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Pitin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Fernandinho Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Etxekopar in the 29th minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Jonathan da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute El ABUELO FC were awarded a corner. Diego Hori went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Diego Hori almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonathan da Fonseca did a great save. In the 33rd match minute, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simamane LuaLua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio França might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Pitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio França ran back to his position shaking his head. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Simamane LuaLua got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Alberto Etxekopar in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jonathan da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio França to make the kick off. In the 58th minute Alberto Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio França's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Rafael Pitin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute Evelio Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jonathan da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Eskuin in the 65th minute of play. Jonathan da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Júlio Brasil hit a great ball. Jonathan da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jonathan da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Txurio in the 71st minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, El ABUELO FC's Evelio Bladi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan da Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Olentzaro in the 78th minute of the match. Júlio Brasil hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Sergio Txurio took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan da Fonseca. Jonathan da Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 87 minutes, Mazen Vella Bonavita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE and the El ABUELO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of El ABUELO FC booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazen Vella Bonavita didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El ABUELO FC fully deserved thier win.
