Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michael De Leger kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Michael De Leger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Tximitx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Deportivo Xpertin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Benjamin Sotil scored to the left of an out of position Savier Arco, making the score, 1-0. Club Deportivo Xpertin's Savier Arco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Sotil in the 8th minute of play. Virgilio Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savier Arco having to interfere. Agustín Giay was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Agustín Giay got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Nicolás Valentini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Valentini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Sotil was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Benjamin Sotil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Savier Arco came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Sotil slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. If Valentín Barco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savier Arco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Cavani in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Michael De Leger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Valentín Barco took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Savier Arco to make any attempt to save it. Savier Arco made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Valentín Barco sent off a good shot on target. Tauro Ahues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Tximitx having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín Barco came free, but Savier Arco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Antonello Sergi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Xpertin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abuba Akotonon FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes Club Deportivo Xpertin got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Sergi. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Corderall to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savier Arco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Club Deportivo Xpertin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauro Ahues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Corderall came free, but Savier Arco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Club Deportivo Xpertin got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Diez. 67 minutes into the game, Virgilio Corderall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Savier Arco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Héctor Gajardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cristian Medina got a free kick in the 80th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Exequiel Zeballos was substituted for Benjamin Sotil. Abuba Akotonon FC made a substitution. Aarón Anselmino replaced Nicolás Valentini. A collision led to Club Deportivo Xpertin getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sofiane Herrada hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Exequiel Zeballos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Savier Arco was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Club Deportivo Xpertin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
