Spectators: 7852 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 156) Gondor FC™'s King Thorin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, The Owls's goalkeeper Ionuț Lungu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by King Thorin. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iulian Pordea hit a great ball. Fabian Isăcescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Bârlea hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling King Thorin in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionuț Lungu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Alexandru Coporan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahir Srna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionuț Lungu was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and King Thorin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. King Thorin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ionuț Lungu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Thorin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Donostia Soldevila's late challenge caught a The Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donostia Soldevila helped the player get up and apologised. Donostia Soldevila kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Iulian Pordea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahir Srna. Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ionuț Lungu stood somewhat misplaced when Aragorn King came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. When Damian Bârlea fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Owls's protests and gave Damian Bârlea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Damian Bârlea hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Gondor FC™ were awarded a corner. Amar Amautović went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Amar Amautović almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Owls's Ionuț Lungu did a great save. With his leg Ionuț Lungu managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Gondor FC™'s King Thorin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46thth minute of the game Bard Bowman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Owls's Ionuț Lungu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iulian Pordea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Gondor FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Cheche to maneuver through the defense. Ionuț Lungu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bard Bowman in the 55th minute of play. King Thorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ionuț Lungu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Lungu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Thorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, The Owls's goal looked a bit too open when Bard Bowman came free, but Ionuț Lungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gondor FC™'s Elfar Elrond was substituted for King Thorin. Gondor FC™ made a substitution. Metin Božić replaced Aragorn King. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Fabian Isăcescu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Tahir Srna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandru Coporan in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Bârlea to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Elfar Elrond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gondor FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Elfar Elrond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gondor FC™'s Elfar Elrond in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Owls's goalie prevented a goal. Ionuț Lungu came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Gondor FC™'s Bard Bowman. But to his dismay, Bard Bowman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ionuț Lungu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bard Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gondor FC™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Owls had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
