Spectators: 7734 (Terracing: 5802, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Virila in the 3rd minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Ariel Tximitx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Edinson Cavani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Corderall, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 11 minutes in the game, Virgilio Corderall dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Virgilio Corderall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Salvidor. Altos Gatos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Corderall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Ariel Tximitx got control of the ball when Joaquin Gallardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Altos Gatos FC's Erasmo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Sotil in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Edinson Cavani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 25 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Valentín Barco made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Salvidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, Virgilio Corderall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Erasmo Salvidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erasmo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentín Barco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abuba Akotonon FC's Ariel Tximitx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Virila in the 41st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Abuba Akotonon FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Altos Gatos FC:s goal. Abuba Akotonon FC:s Ariel Tximitx showed great skill when he stopped Joaquin Gallardo:s penalty. Joaquin Gallardo did an outstanding performance 44 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-5 to the right of an irritated Ariel Tximitx in the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Gallardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Virila in the 51st minute of the match. With a little luck, Altos Gatos FC's Erasmo Salvidor got control of the ball when Valentín Barco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Abuba Akotonon FC's Virgilio Corderall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erasmo Salvidor. That made the score 1-6 after 54 minutes of play. Esteve Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Nicolás Valentini fired a really elegant long shot, but Erasmo Salvidor threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Erasmo Salvidor was a little too slow when Edinson Cavani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-7. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Nicolás Valentini got a free kick in the 69th minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Valentín Barco took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Erasmo Salvidor to make any attempt to save it. 74 minutes into the game, Esteve Gasteiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altos Gatos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abuba Akotonon FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Altos Gatos FC's Esteve Gasteiz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 86th minute, Valentín Barco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erasmo Salvidor, passed just outside the right post. Abuba Akotonon FC's Exequiel Zeballos was substituted for Benjamin Sotil. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Paulino Lizardi put in a rough tackle. Paulino Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Joaquin Gallardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altos Gatos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Gallardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Corderall got free with Erasmo Salvidor in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Abuba Akotonon FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
