Vânderson Esteves came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Unikurdos United F.C.'s Oscar Perez. But to his dismay, Oscar Perez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Munhoz in the 22nd minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Estebe Caneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estebe Caneiro having to interfere. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Unikurdos United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernandez Ventosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
