If Xabi Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natxo Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sezer İnan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Edgar Davids managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gothic Souls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Davids was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Frisco Carceles fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Hawk Football Club's protests and gave Frisco Carceles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Davids to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ahmet Harun Şahbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gothic Souls's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Harun Şahbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natxo Calatayud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sezer İnan took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natxo Calatayud. Natxo Calatayud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bahadır Yastıkcığlu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Oriol Riera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Menderes Hikmet came out and tried to block the shot, but Oriol Riera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Davids came free, but Natxo Calatayud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Edgar Davids ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natxo Calatayud was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Red Hawk Football Club made a substitution. Cipriano Izquierdo replaced Fix Romero. Red Hawk Football Club made a substitution. Eli Griego replaced Frisco Carceles.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sezer İnan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Oriol Agulló mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Hawk Football Club and the Gothic Souls players grew even worse after the yellow card. Javier Castelao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menderes Hikmet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Franquesa in the 78th minute of play forced Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Menderes Hikmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natxo Calatayud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezer İnan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Red Hawk Football Club's Natxo Calatayud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Red Hawk Football Club from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Gothic Souls booed when Red Hawk Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Franquesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's Sezer İnan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natxo Calatayud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gothic Souls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abayhan Kırca in the 93rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Red Hawk Football Club's goalie and right to Sezer İnan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Red Hawk Football Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Xabi Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Natxo Calatayud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gothic Souls walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
