The referee showed Wawrzyniec Smolarek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Lekko Spoceni got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Smolarek. Wincenty Budzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Nenchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Wieslaw Skrzypek's late challenge caught a DARAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wieslaw Skrzypek helped the player get up and apologised. 15 minutes into the game, Feliks Kochanowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vute Baliev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wincenty Budzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Nenchev in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes Lekko Spoceni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Volodya Biradzhiev who took care of the corner kick. 26 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Kochanowski came free, but Vute Baliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Budzynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Nedyalko Berberov. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lekko Spoceni's goalkeeper Wincenty Budzynski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wincenty Budzynski came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Gonzo Ivanov. But to his dismay, Gonzo Ivanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51stth minute of the game Toni Nenchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lekko Spoceni's Wincenty Budzynski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wincenty Budzynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Gonzo Ivanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Budzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzo Ivanov in the 59th minute of play forced Lekko Spoceni's goalkeeper Wincenty Budzynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Smolarek hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Korneliusz Fujara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Vute Baliev made a huge save. DARAS's Paolo Rossi was substituted for Toni Nenchev. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Toni Nenchev got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Wincenty Budzynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzo Ivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Wincenty Budzynski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzo Ivanov went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Wincenty Budzynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Rossi in the 84th minute of play. DARAS's Paolo Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Paolo Rossi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DARAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
