The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moneteria's Pankracy Zawada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Mendonça in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Dário Lima got a free kick in the 4th minute. Aaron Wuets kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Pankracy Zawada was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cacá de Lara. If Jerzy Bondel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Moneteria's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lobo Guará. In the 20th minute, Gustavo Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Tymoteusz Bochynski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vânderson Esteves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Flavio Genovese kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Mendonça in the 30th minute of play forced Moneteria's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Flavio Genovese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Cacá de Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pankracy Zawada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Dário Lima fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobo Guará's protests and gave Dário Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Lobo Guará got a freekick which was hit by Dário Lima. Beniamin Mentus might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vânderson Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beniamin Mentus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Dário Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Kaczorowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vânderson Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tymoteusz Bochynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Esteves having to interfere. Gustavo Martins's late challenge caught a Moneteria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Martins helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Gustavo Martins got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Kaczorowski in the 54th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Vânderson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moneteria's Zachariasz Robak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vânderson Esteves but with some difficulty. Tymoteusz Bochynski charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tymoteusz Bochynski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tymoteusz Bochynski hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Beniamin Mentus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Mentus in the 68th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Vânderson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beniamin Mentus scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vânderson Esteves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Genovese struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Vânderson Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moneteria. Moneteria made a substitution. Boleslaw Glapiak replaced Lucjan Kaczorowski. Pankracy Zawada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Beniamin Mentus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Vânderson Esteves made a huge save. After 86 played minutes Moneteria got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Genovese. After a rather tough play, Moneteria's Flavio Genovese got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Munhoz in the 89th minute of play forced Moneteria's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Ryszard Arbaszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moneteria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryszard Arbaszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Glapiak came free, but Vânderson Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moneteria's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
