The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azly Seng during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Azly Seng hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Paulo Renato Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Márcio Cruz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nagrand's Didi Gonçalves. Didi Gonçalves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Cruz in the 74th minute of play forced Nagrand's goalkeeper Didi Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Amir Ramachandran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nagrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jereba 4EVER the free kick. After 75 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Amir Ramachandran.
