The throw-in from Rolf Korevaar in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by IGUIPORÃ FC's Michel Amorim. Basílio Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinier Polak in the 5th minute of play. Basílio Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy van Loen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute, Dennis Hekman made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Veloso. IGUIPORÃ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thomas Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Barral in the 19th minute of play. IGUIPORÃ FC's Eduardo Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Dennis Hekman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basílio Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Basílio Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billy van Loen went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 42 minutes of play, ASV Muziekwijk's Reinier Polak made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basílio Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Dênis Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half ASV Muziekwijk were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinier Polak to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ASV Muziekwijk's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Soares came free, but Thomas Hoogsteen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Frits Klasens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio Veloso. IGUIPORÃ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frits Klasens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinier Polak in the 59th minute of play forced IGUIPORÃ FC's goalkeeper Basílio Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Dênis Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, IGUIPORÃ FC's Zé Alvarenga got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Dennis Hekman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. ASV Muziekwijk's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thomas Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Peres in the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Frits Klasens dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basílio Veloso, 0-6. 82 minutes into the match, ASV Muziekwijk's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Amorim came free, but Thomas Hoogsteen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Veloso was a little too slow when Reinier Polak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-7. Jorge Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomas Hoogsteen having to make a save. In the 94th minute, ASV Muziekwijk's Frits Klasens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basílio Veloso. Basílio Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Basílio Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinier Polak in the 96th minute of play. ASV Muziekwijk's Billy van Loen got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over ASV Muziekwijk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IGUIPORÃ FC throughout the match.
