FC Draconia's Uwe Nwachukwu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinier Polak in the 6th minute of play. Dennis Hekman kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy van Loen in the 8th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe Nwachukwu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinier Polak, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Uwe Nwachukwu made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Billy van Loen sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Huib van der Doelen could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Uwe Nwachukwu however easily saved by the left post. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Draconia's zone, Reinier Polak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uwe Nwachukwu came out of the goal and Reinier Polak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edelmiro Sotero lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Uwe Nwachukwu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinier Polak, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes, Frits Klasens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASV Muziekwijk and the FC Draconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dennis Hekmans short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Uwe Nwachukwu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dennis Hekman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Uwe Nwachukwu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Dennis Hekman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uwe Nwachukwu. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. Thomas Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Van Dessen in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kraig McAlphie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerry Moerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Thomas Hoogsteen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Teo De Kelper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Strobos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Štefko Stadnyuk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinier Polak in the 64th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Uwe Nwachukwu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Horring hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jerry Moerman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Thomas Hoogsteen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Jerry Moerman sped through ASV Muziekwijk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen. Freddy Olemans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Thomas Hoogsteen made a huge save. Klaus Dhondt kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Steve Spoel hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thomas Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Olemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Uwe Nwachukwu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinier Polak went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Klaus Dhondt got a free kick in the 95th minute. FC Draconia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
