Spectators: 7691 (Terracing: 5769, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudiu Udroiu started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Severo came free, but Octav Hortopan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermenegildo Teles in the 8th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Américo Severo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Hortopan. Octav Hortopan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermenegildo Teles during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermenegildo Teles hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Dércio Brandão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octav Hortopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Severo in the 21st minute of the match. Higino Pessoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Stelian in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Severo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Udroiu got free with Higino Pessoa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Américo Severo scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octav Hortopan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Octav Hortopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Alves in the 51st minute of the match. Octav Hortopan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Severo in the 54th minute. Octav Hortopan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dércio Brandão in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan got control of the ball when Américo Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Américo Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Octav Hortopan made a huge save. Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Ostoici in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pinhote FC's Márcio Antas got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Udroiu in the 66th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Hortopan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermenegildo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandru Stelian in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higino Pessoa saved Pinhote FC from getting behind. Américo Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Octav Hortopan made a huge save. In the 79th minute Nuno Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Arapașu's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Arapașu helped the player get up and apologised. 85 minutes into the game, Nuno Alves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octav Hortopan. Nuno Alves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 90 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Alves. In the 92nd minute Fabian Verzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higino Pessoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Severo to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Pinhote FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -BZF- Fc Gheraseni throughout the match.
