The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dionisia's goalkeeper Arnoldo Gabrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Placido Porfirio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dionisia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MILAN COLOMBIANO the free kick. A collision led to Dionisia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Placido Porfirio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in MILAN COLOMBIANO's zone, Tomás Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Cordarrell came out of the goal and Tomás Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisia's Gonzalo Isidor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Siro Cordarrell. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 31st minute, Abel Mirande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Gabrio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the match, Placido Porfirio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Cordarrell. MILAN COLOMBIANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Porfirio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Fabian Milio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Cordarrell having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MILAN COLOMBIANO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
