Clemente Nikola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dércio Brandão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Punk Fiction's attentive Rafael Victoro managed to snatch the ball when Renato Domingos made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dércio Brandão hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Urbasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Clemente Nikola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Severo in the 51st minute of play. Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Urbasa in the 55th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Jurgi. Punk Fiction's Niceto Jurgi got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The corner led Pinhote FC's Severiano Prates to fire away a dangerous shot which Clemente Nikola despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pinhote FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Punk Fiction had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
