In the 27th minute Emmanuel Van Laer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Rakoski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes FC 68AKSARAY got a freekick which was hit by Mevlüt Ünsevin. In the 31st minute Ümit Yalkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oğuzhan Sarıaslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when FC 68AKSARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuzhan Sarıaslan in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Maerschalcx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Georges Van Der Talen's late challenge caught a FC 68AKSARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Van Der Talen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, SK Dreigoten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georges Van Der Talen to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Yalkın came free, but Jo Maerschalcx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jules Van Beringhen to make the kick off. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jo Maerschalcx firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FC 68AKSARAY's zone, Jules Van Beringhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Rakoski came out of the goal and Jules Van Beringhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Rakoski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Van Beringhen in the 91st minute of the match. When Jules Van Beringhen came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the SK Dreigoten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jules Van Beringhen couldn't finish the play. The FC 68AKSARAY players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SK Dreigoten from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
