Linghed Angels FC's Algot Ennegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Linghed Angels FC from getting a goal against them. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Hellström in the 38th minute of play. Edson Salgado hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Linghed Angels FC's Victor Malmberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Linghed Angels FC reached it. After 42 minutes, Jörgen Magnusson made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Franklin Loyola's late challenge caught a Linghed Angels FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
