Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Félix in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Aravena in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Dolcet saved Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting behind. When Magallanes's Luis Aravena in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Luis Aravena put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Froilan Dolcet. In the 10th minute, Luis Aravena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Dolcet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Fritz in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Luis Aravena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Montenegro. Tomás Las Casas was a little too slow when Jeferson Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-2. Hipolito Fritz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Froilan Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magallanes. 32 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Montenegro. In the 33rdth minute of the game Luis Aravena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Aravena's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Válbson Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 36 minutes into the game, one of Ibirama Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Loyola in the 40th minute of play. The Ibirama Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Magallanes were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Montenegro made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Bombal during the 51st minute. Brian Izaga's late challenge caught a Ibirama Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edson Salgado scored 2-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Las Casas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Aravena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Froilan Dolcet made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Jeferson Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Las Casas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Tomás Las Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Jeferson Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Las Casas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Ibirama Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
