In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ajax Poland's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ismael Castro got a free kick in the 20th minute. Leszek Golembiewski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Froilan Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maciej Żurawski in the 30th minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Maciej Żurawski scored to the left of an out of position Froilan Dolcet, making the score, 1-0. In the 36th minute of the match, Leszek Golembiewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Froilan Dolcet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wojciech Szczęsny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Teodoro Santana hit a great ball. Ibirama Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Ajax Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquim Félix took the corner. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Montenegro made a kick off. Froilan Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Golembiewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ajax Poland's Maciej Żurawski got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jeferson Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Maciej Żurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wojciech Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jeferson Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Jeferson Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Wojciech Szczęsny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Froilan Dolcet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Żurawski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Teodoro Santana hit a great ball. Leszek Golembiewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Froilan Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
