Isidro Camara came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirama Futebol Clube's Franklin Loyola. But to his dismay, Franklin Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Jeferson Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Aravena in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Magallanes were awarded a corner. Lino Bombal went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Magallanes's corner Lino Bombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Froilan Dolcet quite easily take care of the ball. Luis Johnson lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luis Johnson hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Joaquim Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibirama Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Luis Aravena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Magallanes's Luis Aravena got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Froilan Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Isidro Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edson Salgado hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes, Magallanes's Lino Bombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magallanes reached it.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Montenegro made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Loyola came free, but Isidro Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Hipolito Fritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Joaquim Félix from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Isidro Camara's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luis Aravena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magallanes's Emilio Formoso was substituted for Brian Izaga. With a little luck, Magallanes's Isidro Camara got control of the ball when Jeferson Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Montenegro in the 72nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Isidro Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Luis Aravena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magallanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Aravena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válbson Silva hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Aravena in the 75th minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Camara made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Dedé Dante sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Jeferson Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Edson Salgado got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes, Magallanes's Lino Bombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Froilan Dolcet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magallanes reached it. 92 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Félix came free, but Isidro Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Bombal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Isidro Camara came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirama Futebol Clube's Jeferson Montenegro. But to his dismay, Jeferson Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ibirama Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
