The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Żurawski got free with Roman Loramendi in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Loramendi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Maciej Żurawski sent off a good shot on target. Wojciech Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Quentin in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Anastasio Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Romeo Gudesteo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ajax Poland's Wojciech Szczęsny. When VAMO ARRIBA's Anastasio Igon in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wojciech Szczęsny guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Patricio Raebert's late challenge caught a Ajax Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
