Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Kenneth Lange started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Pihlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joélson Nogueira scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Benet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Motta Futebol Clube's Ronaldinho Arósio got control of the ball when Kenneth Lange tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Kenneth Lange notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Motta Futebol Clube's Ronaldinho Arósio. Ronaldinho Arósio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Sivert Bollström got a free kick in the 12th minute. Melker Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Reis in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melker Benet. Wargön's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sebastian Andreasson's shot from long distance in the 22nd minute was not bad at all, but Motta Futebol Clube's Ronaldinho Arósio knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 24th minute Bengt-Rune Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Matorin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melker Benet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Genílson Mandrak put in a rough tackle. Motta Futebol Clube's Ronaldinho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Andreasson in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Reis in the 30th minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Melker Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luís Eduardo Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Benet came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Luís Eduardo Reis. But to his dismay, Luís Eduardo Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Melker Benet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Eduardo Reis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Bengt-Rune Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Arósio. Ronaldinho Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luís Eduardo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Benet having to interfere. Melker Benet made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Luís Eduardo Reis sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldinho Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 67th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Reis took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melker Benet. Melker Benet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Melker Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Eduardo Reis in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenneth Lange in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldinho Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Wargön fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Wargön's Kenneth Lange looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Diogo Tavares replaced Ezequiel Matorin. When Luís Eduardo Reis came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Motta Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Reis couldn't finish the play. Zeca Esteves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roger Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wargön's goalkeeper Melker Benet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Chicão Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melker Benet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6. Motta Futebol Clube played a much better game than Wargön and deserved their victory. The Wargön players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
