In the 3rdth minute of the game Gonsalvo Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Desiderio Demario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Prod'Homme. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Gonsalvo Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonsalvo Ramos in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Romeri saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonsalvo Ramos in the 18th minute of play. When Conrado Cambranes fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Conrado Cambranes a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Suprs Academia got a freekick which was hit by José Salah. In the 27th minute, Bahía é Carnaval's Luis Iban ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miguel Prod'Homme. Miguel Prod'Homme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gonsalvo Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Romeri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonsalvo Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Gonsalvo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonsalvo Ramos in the 32nd minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Sergio Romeri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Suprs Academia's Miguel Prod'Homme got control of the ball when Luis Iban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Prod'Homme was a little too slow when Luis Iban got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Bahía é Carnaval's Luis Iban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Prod'Homme. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. Miguel Prod'Homme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Demario in the 47th minute of play. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Horacio Lia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Suprs Academia's Miguel Prod'Homme didn't even have to move. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonsalvo Ramos made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Desiderio Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Lia's late challenge caught a Suprs Academia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Lia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Horacio Lia hit a great ball. Luis Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Conrado Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Prod'Homme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Cambranes in the 61st minute of the match. Miguel Prod'Homme came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bahía é Carnaval's Desiderio Demario. But to his dismay, Desiderio Demario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 72nd minute of the match Horacio Lia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Prod'Homme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Lúcio Curado notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri. Sergio Romeri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Bahía é Carnaval fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Bahía é Carnaval's Luis Iban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bahía é Carnaval made a substitution. Igor Cordara replaced Uriel Chorche. When Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bahía é Carnaval's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Xavier Marinho got a free kick in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Demario came free, but Miguel Prod'Homme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Lia to maneuver through the defense. If Desiderio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bahía é Carnaval fully deserved thier win.
