Yala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manantiales Fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Yala's Mauro Roano got a free kick in the 11th minute. Juan Riquelmes short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Octavio Ferrer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Severo Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Sustrai in the 14th minute of play. Severo Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mauro Roano hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Arias in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Manantiales Fc booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes Manantiales Fc got a freekick which was hit by Juan Riquelme. Severo Roderigo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moises Bermund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Mauro Roano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Sustrai in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Yala played a much better game than Manantiales Fc and deserved their victory. The Manantiales Fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
