Victorio Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético de Newell's Archie Gilroy got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Johnny Burns's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Firmin was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Matthew Edwards showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Txartiko in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Txartiko to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Kasey Gobey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Firmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Gumaro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Tristram Ellerton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Kasey Gobey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gogo Firmin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 74 played minutes Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Quito. Gogo Firmin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Archie Gilroy in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s zone, Tristram Ellerton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Firmin came out of the goal and Tristram Ellerton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Gumaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthew Edwards. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Gumaro ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Club Atlético de Newell defense, Cleto Txartiko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthew Edwards. The Club Atlético de Newell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthew Edwards should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Club Atlético de Newell getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Johnny Burns hit a great ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Archie Gilroy was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético de Newell's players had a chance to rest. 93 minutes into the game, Justin Langford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético de Newell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Justin Langford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético de Newell's Matthew Edwards played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Espiridion in the 96th minute of play. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
