Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sindre Walle took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Xavier Marinho had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Nygren during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Suprs Academia made a substitution. Mariano Tavares replaced Xavier Marinho. Benjamin Nygren hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The Suprs Academia fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Cavaco came free, but Henning Sæmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Cavaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Sindre Walle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Prod'Homme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Cavaco came free, but Henning Sæmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sindre Walle took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Prod'Homme. Miguel Prod'Homme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joaquim Cavaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Henning Sæmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Suprs Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Gjødsbøl came free, but Miguel Prod'Homme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Nygren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Cavaco in the 39th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Henning Sæmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonsalvo Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. When FC Nordsjælland's Benjamin Nygren in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Suprs Academia's goalie prevented a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Gonsalvo Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Sæmer. FC Nordsjælland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonsalvo Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 58th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitar Berbatov to maneuver through the defense. Suprs Academia's Romão Calçada was substituted for Tobias Taveira. Suprs Academia's Joaquim Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Joaquim Cavaco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Sæmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Gonsalvo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Nordsjælland's Henning Sæmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Salah in the 68th minute of play. Henning Sæmer came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Suprs Academia's Gonsalvo Ramos. But to his dismay, Gonsalvo Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Miguel Prod'Homme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Joaquim Cavaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sindre Walle came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the FC Nordsjælland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sindre Walle couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, José Salah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Sæmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Nordsjælland players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Suprs Academia.
