The supporters of Los Frogos booed when SANTOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Hamnberg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Kane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SANTOS F.C's Luiz Eduardo Batista got his second yellow card of the match in the 19th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of SANTOS F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Frogos:s goal. Simon Björkqvist shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some careless play in the SANTOS F.C defense, Frank Gualtieri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harry Kane. The SANTOS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harry Kane should have stopped the shot. Folke Hamnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Kane having to interfere. After the first half Los Frogos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Baptista made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Los Frogos got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Springfält. Harry Kane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Hamnberg in the 54th minute of the match. When Aristides Calixto fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTOS F.C's protests and gave Aristides Calixto a yellow card for diving instead. When Wojciech Drebit came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SANTOS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wojciech Drebit couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Harry Kane got control of the ball when Frank Gualtieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leandro Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wojciech Drebit fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 84th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 86thth minute Cipriano Berger beautifully dribbled past Los Frogos's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Sverker Nyberg pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. Cipriano Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wojciech Drebit who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Sverker Nyberg's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Wojciech Drebit was beeing forced to shoot. After 94 minutes Los Frogos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wojciech Drebit who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Wojciech Drebit got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sverker Nyberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wojciech Drebit hit a great ball. Although SANTOS F.C had been in control for most of the match, Los Frogos still came away with the win.
