But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Favila Heras couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Pernambucano. In the 35th minute Piearres Somiedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Somiedo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Santana saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. Teodoro Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nardo Tuo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Gutierrre Valseca got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes, Favila Heras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Buceo and the Leripe Lifestyle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Favila Heras hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Piearres Somiedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Santana was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Piearres Somiedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Borys Soliwoda fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leripe Lifestyle's protests and gave Borys Soliwoda a yellow card for diving instead. Borys Soliwoda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Sporting Buceo's Piearres Somiedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodoro Santana. Teodoro Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 83rd minute, Leonardo Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Guillen Ubiña. Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Veiga during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
