Juan-Carlos Izarra started the match with the kick off. Aires Villaelrriego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Capixaba in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubio Poo came free, but Waldir Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Vianna struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Aires Villaelrriego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Capixaba in the 20th minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Aires Villaelrriego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Guga Capixaba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aires Villaelrriego was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Vianna during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Tony Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tony Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aires Villaelrriego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guga Capixaba's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Guga Capixaba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aires Villaelrriego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waldir Peres got control of the ball when Juan-Carlos Izarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Capixaba in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aires Villaelrriego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aires Villaelrriego came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Tony Vianna. But to his dismay, Tony Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 47th minute, Percy Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guga Capixaba was the one to do the kick off. Xavian Alamasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Peres having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Carlos Izarra in the 59th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Roches, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Alex Cadrecha hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Aires Villaelrriego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guga Capixaba. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when No Me Inscriban Gracias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Carlos Izarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Waka Barcellos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but No Me Inscriban Gracias's Aires Villaelrriego did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guga Capixaba got free with Aires Villaelrriego in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the game, Tony Vianna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aires Villaelrriego. Tony Vianna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Guga Capixabas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Aires Villaelrriego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of No Me Inscriban Gracias booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Juan-Carlos Izarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No Me Inscriban Gracias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Carlos Izarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Xavian Alamasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Vianna in the 91st minute of play forced No Me Inscriban Gracias's goalkeeper Aires Villaelrriego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes, Alex Cadrecha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the No Me Inscriban Gracias and the Barcellos Mineiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Cadrecha kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barcellos Mineiro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
