In the 6th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Panagiotatos to maneuver through the defense. Alexis Kotsanakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rolf Pihlgren made a huge save. Jimmie Vibjörnsson took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustratios Vertsotis. Eustratios Vertsotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren got control of the ball when Alexis Kotsanakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 played minutes Brutal DeLuxe got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Westerberg. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Thanos Panagiotatos hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Jimmie Vibjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustratios Vertsotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Dimitris Koudas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolf Pihlgren. Dimitris Koudas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Rudolf Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexis Kotsanakis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Rolf Pihlgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olympiacos FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Brutal DeLuxe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giorgos Soufleris took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Giorgos Soufleris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolf Pihlgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmie Vibjörnsson made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Brutal DeLuxe's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Kotsanakis came free, but Rolf Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olympiacos FC's Alexis Kotsanakis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brutal DeLuxe's goalie prevented a goal. Mattias Gulliksson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Alexis Kotsanakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brutal DeLuxe's Rolf Pihlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Pavlos Fanidis got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudolf Blom got free with Eustratios Vertsotis in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Kotsanakis. Brutal DeLuxe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
