After 89 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Orelio Picka. In the 90th minute Alexis Kotsanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soulis Partaliss short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Waldir Peres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Soufleris during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barcellos Mineiro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
