After 18 minutes, Haroldo Erasto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca and the Crisólia FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Erasto. Ruy Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Diez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ronaldinho Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Toribio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Crisólia FBPA booed when Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Corleone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joãozinho Severiano in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Diez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 32 played minutes Crisólia FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Narciso da Costa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Túlio Damião during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Túlio Damião got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Baladi in the 35th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Crisólia FBPA defense, Isaias Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Vasconcelos. The Crisólia FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Vasconcelos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Crisólia FBPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amancio Orlandus took the corner. After taking down the ball on Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's corner Amancio Orlandus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronaldinho Vasconcelos quite easily take care of the ball. The wind increased when Ruy Prado made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Esteve Toribio made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Vasconcelos. Crisólia FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Magno de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Joãozinho Severiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Tostão Valle got a free kick in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Orlandus came free, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Toribio in the 75th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Vedillo came free, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Crisólia FBPA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olimpo de Bahia Blanca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
