Jude Bellingham started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Bellingham came free, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Ronaldo in the 7th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldinho Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jude Bellingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Jude Bellingham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crisólia FBPA's Ronaldinho Vasconcelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Clube Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Lamine Yambao. In the 15th minute Jude Bellingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Romário Ronaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st minute, Ruy Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joãozinho Severiano's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Mineiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 49th minute Romário Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruy Prado made a kick off. After 81 played minutes Clube Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Raí Araújo. José Maria Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joãozinho Severiano in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamine Yambao in the 85th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Clube Atlético Mineiro manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Crisólia FBPA to win.
