Carl Hamberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ronaldinho Vasconcelos made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Palmeira to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Salem Gunners BK's Cícero Teles got a free kick in the 56th minute. Bengt-Åke Håkansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso da Costa in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Teles in the 67th minute of play forced Crisólia FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salem Gunners BK's Bengt-Åke Håkansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Salem Gunners BK from getting a goal against them.
