After 4 played minutes Talento Futebol clube got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Lindelof. After taking down the ball on Terceirense F.C.'s corner Valter Lucena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Maria Souza quite easily take care of the ball. Tadeu Bastos struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Robert Enke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talento Futebol clube. José Maria Souza came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia. But to his dismay, Anselmo Baldaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anselmo Baldaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. José Maria Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Lousada during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolas Lousada hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mito Mesías managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talento Futebol clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Mito Mesías was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Enke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Baldaia came free, but José Maria Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Baldaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but José Maria Souza made a huge save. After 41 minutes, Rui Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terceirense F.C. and the Talento Futebol clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Robert Enke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Delin in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Viktor Lindelof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Arne Delin was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Lousada. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Valter Lucena hit a great ball. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Kevin Soares replaced Anselmo Baldaia. Valter Lucena hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Talento Futebol clube's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 65th minute of the game, when Gabriel Hoffmann after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Terceirense F.C.'s goal. Gabriel Hoffmann was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Carlos Ferreira replaced Lucas Luis. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Soares came free, but José Maria Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Soares's late challenge caught a Talento Futebol clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Soares helped the player get up and apologised. Rui Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Per-Arne Delin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Enke having to interfere. Robert Enke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Terceirense F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
