In the 25th minute Tommy Porter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Sidorowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Duxbury came free, but Tolek Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Korona Kielce booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Balkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tolek Sidorowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Duxbury in the 31st minute of play. Tolek Sidorowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Kielb, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Kamil Jozwiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gary Ingram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolek Sidorowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephen Duxbury's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Kielb in the 44th minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Tolek Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Jacek Kielb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tolek Sidorowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Felix Bailey came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Korona Kielce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Bailey couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tanek Dresik made a kick off. Wawrzyniec Balkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 52nd minute, Simon Wray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolek Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Duxbury in the 57th minute of the match. Tanek Dresik kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Józef De Bruyne in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Korona Kielce's goalie prevented a goal. After 68 minutes of play Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tanek Dresik was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tanek Dresik hit a great ball. Tolek Sidorowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacek Kielb in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Korona Kielce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Titmus to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Tommy Porter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wawrzyniec Balkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Korona Kielce's performance. The match ended with a win for Korona Kielce.
