An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Wik in the 4th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Quique Iglesias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Nordmark was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. Newcastle United F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 12th minute Sergio Berti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Newcastle United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Egil Lindman. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Emil Lundberg put in a rough tackle. In the 14th match minute, Newcastle United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United F.C.'s zone, Raimundo Porfiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Dahlquist came out of the goal and Raimundo Porfiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes of play, Los Delfines's Sergio Berti made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Dahlquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christoffer Dahlquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charles Darwin went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 32nd match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Darwin to maneuver through the defense. Egil Lindman kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United F.C.'s Bengt Arhenius got a free kick in the 40th minute. Christoffer Dahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Porfiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Christoffer Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Berti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Los Delfines's Charles Darwin got a free kick in the 51st minute. Vykan Clicker hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Charles Darwin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christoffer Dahlquist firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Delfines's Narciso Maranhense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoffer Dahlquist. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. Vykan Clicker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Dahlquist having to interfere. Kent Wik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quique Iglesias having to interfere. Christoffer Dahlquist had great luck who in the 71stth minute grab hold of the ball when Vykan Clicker from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Christoffer Dahlquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charles Darwin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 72 minute of play. Los Delfines played a much better game than Newcastle United F.C. and deserved their victory. The Newcastle United F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
