Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lars Nordmark made the kick off which started today's match. Jairo Lizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoffer Dahlquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Nordmark in the 8th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Vinicio Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Kent Wik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari. Vinicio Bidari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Old Boys's Santa Luis got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Nordmark took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Bidari. Vinicio Bidari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 22 minutes of play, Newcastle United F.C.'s Kent Wik made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Bidari was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th match minute, Newcastle United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Arhenius to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Wik in the 27th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Vinicio Bidari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Christoffer Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christoffer Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Lizar in the 30th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Santa Luis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Christoffer Dahlquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Newcastle United F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santa Luis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Lundberg came free, but Vinicio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 54 minutes on the clock, Silvio Birjaio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Silvio Birjaio got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in The Old Boys's zone, Kent Wik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Bidari came out of the goal and Kent Wik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Newcastle United F.C.'s Vinicio Bidari threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edward Ahlqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of The Old Boys booed when Newcastle United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Forss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the The Old Boys defense, Lars Nordmark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Bidari. The The Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Bidari should have stopped the shot. Vinicio Bidari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Nordmark in the 67th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of The Old Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Newcastle United F.C.:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil Lindman got free with Vinicio Bidari in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes, Edward Ahlqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United F.C. and the The Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edward Ahlqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Cláudio Suárez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Vinicio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Nordmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Jacobo Gomesano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Vinicio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Arhenius in the 96th minute of the match. Lars Nordmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Vinicio Bidari made a huge save.
