The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, El Fortín de Floresta's Jairo Ioritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sahala Ginting made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute Mario Syafruddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sahala Ginting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Beltxe in the 14th minute of play. Carolo Beltxe took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sahala Ginting. Sahala Ginting dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carolo Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Sukma Hadinata charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sukma Hadinata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Liverpool Fans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sukma Hadinata to maneuver through the defense. Sukma Hadinata hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, El Fortín de Floresta's Jairo Ioritz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sahala Ginting was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sahala Ginting didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Ioritz went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Sahala Ginting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half El Fortín de Floresta were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Syafruddin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Ioritz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sahala Ginting firmly grabbed it by the left post. El Fortín de Floresta's Tomás Bianchi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Fortín de Floresta's Carolo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wahyu Papara in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zidan Koswara in the 63rd minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Carolo Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sahala Ginting came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by El Fortín de Floresta's Jairo Ioritz. But to his dismay, Jairo Ioritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 71st minute, El Fortín de Floresta's Cirilo Aballe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sahala Ginting. Sahala Ginting yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Carolo Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wahyu Papara in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Syamsuddn in the 76th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Carolo Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Syafruddin in the 80th minute of play. Sukma Hadinata made a great header on Liverpool Fans's corner, it was just that El Fortín de Floresta's Carolo Naelio managed to reach the ball for a save.
