Bertil Strömqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucjan Tscherner. Działki Leśne Gdynia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute Niclas Österberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Tscherner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Działki Leśne Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Makomaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Sroki in the 20th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Vidar Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ignacy Fedosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Albert Ekblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Bållström. Bernt Bållström was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Holger Lidström came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the DIF LEEDS BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Lidström couldn't finish the play. Wojciech Redisz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Axel Lundström's late challenge caught a Działki Leśne Gdynia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Lundström helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachariasz Golob got free with Vidar Walroth in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingvar Nordkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hampus Tolsson was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hampus Tolsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIF LEEDS BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Działki Leśne Gdynia the free kick. 53 minutes in the game, Hampus Tolsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lucjan Tscherner having to interfere. In the 71st minute of the match DIF LEEDS BK got a corner. Działki Leśne Gdynia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Åhman ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Działki Leśne Gdynia's zone, Holger Lidström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Tscherner came out of the goal and Holger Lidström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucjan Tscherner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hampus Tolsson went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ignacy Fedosz scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vidar Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The DIF LEEDS BK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
