After a defensive mix-up in Leicester Foxes Academy's zone, Thiago Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graeme McLise came out of the goal and Thiago Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graeme McLise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Senna in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Elpidio Hever got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester Foxes Academy's zone, Fernandinho Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Graeme McLise came out of the goal and Fernandinho Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When CA Portugália's Thiago Senna in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kelvin Eyre in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Soberano saved CA Portugália from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Thiago Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Portugália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th match minute, CA Portugália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. If Thiago Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CA Portugália's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Pennant in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Leicester Foxes Academy booed when CA Portugália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gombal Sierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larry May made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by CA Portugália's Norbert Tamulewicz. When CA Portugália's Thiago Senna in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leicester Foxes Academy's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thiago Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Graeme McLise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Senna's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. If Thiago Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Rayner charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Rayner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Rayner. Leicester Foxes Academy's Graeme McLise proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Leicester Foxes Academy from getting a goal against them. Julian Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Soberano having to interfere. Leicester Foxes Academy made a substitution. Jez Alcock replaced Peter Pennant. After a rather tough play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Jez Alcock got a free kick in the 64th minute. Graeme McLise made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago Senna in the 64th minute. Thiago Sennas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Graeme McLise to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Barry Gunn might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Graeme McLise. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barry Gunn ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, CA Portugália's Barry Gunn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Graeme McLise. Graeme McLise yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Graeme McLise was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barry Gunn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. With a little luck, Leicester Foxes Academy's Graeme McLise got control of the ball when Barry Gunn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barry Gunn in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Graeme McLise, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 91st minute, Barry Gunn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Graeme McLise. The goal made the score 0-4. CA Portugália's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
