An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Vinhas in the 38th minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Wellington Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Montenegro in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Wellington Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Frontera AFC's Severino Cucao was substituted for Alberto Márcico. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wellington Montenegro to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Frontera AFC got a corner. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edison Cavani ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frontera AFC's Edison Cavani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sydney Bittencourt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 59th minute, João Vítor Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Chiquinho Romero. Frontera AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 64th minute Wellington Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Vítor Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Cavani in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
