Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Pasqual in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Mazaredo AFC's Nunez Bermund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nunez Bermund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mazaredo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nunez Bermund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Damaso Patrido's late challenge caught a Frontera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Mazaredo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edison Cavani in the 14th minute of play. Ruperto Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edison Cavani in the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mazaredo AFC defense, Miguel Merentiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Cordarell. The Mazaredo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Cordarell should have stopped the shot. Cristian Lema kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes, Frontera AFC's Edison Cavani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Cordarell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frontera AFC reached it. A hard shot 29 in the game by Damaso Patrido from a close distance when the talented Chiquinho Romero managed to make a qualified save. Frontera AFC's players were relieved. Mazaredo AFC's Damaso Patrido was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Frontera AFC's Miguel Merentiel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruperto Cordarell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruperto Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Márcico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorio Ramos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Márcico in the 47th minute of play forced Mazaredo AFC's goalkeeper Ruperto Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mazaredo AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frontera AFC were winning 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edison Cavani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ivan Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazaredo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera AFC the free kick. Severino Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Alberto Márcico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Mazaredo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Patrido to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Silvestre Solustiano got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Mazaredo AFC's Jonathan Fagondo got a free kick in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Frontera AFC's Edison Cavani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruperto Cordarell. That made the score 1-6 after 85 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Alberto Márcico got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute, Frontera AFC's Alberto Márcico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Frontera AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mazaredo AFC.
