Juan-Carlos Gonzalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Juan-Carlos Gonzalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garaile Rivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Los once leones Ourense's supporters rose to their feet, but Garaile Rivera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Elixio Garros took a quick shot and it went in 11-1 without a chance for Lancelot Sauca to make any attempt to save it.
